V11 x BIRD x INTERRUPCIÓN presents: Mau Gatiyo + Dada Phone

A night of psychedelic scifi cumbia and vallenato… Accordion master Mau Gatiyo and his band are coming down from Bogotá for their debut show in The Netherlands!

Inspired by the accordion sounds of the 70’s and 80’s, and influenced by the tropical scene of Bogotá, with bands like Los Pirañas and Meridian Brothers paving the way, Mau Gatiyo makes futuristic vallenato, protest cumbia and tropical descarga to dance to.

He will be supported by Medellin’s Dada Phone, with a live set looping rhythms of the Colombian Caribbean. Also, Cinema Colombiano DJ’s Mitze Apocalipze and Chucho Vinilo will spin some hot vinyl records, raising the temperature in the red ship to a tropical level.
