Real Derek

Doortje Hiddema (LGHTNNG) and Roy van Rosendaal (Figgie) aka Real Derek are the most recent indie pop formations out of Utrecht. Accompanied by their friends Paul Scheenstra and Tjesse Riemersma, Real Derek’s live shows entertain short and snug pop tunes with a cheerful sentiment, as pink and purple as the video below.

Bosnian-born, Netherlands-based Chris O. Kikic’s project Kitchenette supports the night. Live, Kitchenette is a five piece band with members of Bombay, among others.
