Calls from the Hull Vol II is a continuation of the Calls from the Hull project that was born in 2020 while our venue, and the cultural sector at large, was shut down. We extended an invitation in support of local bands to make use of our space, sound engineer and equipment for recording songs professionally. The outcome was a beautiful compilation album that captured a special, specific moment in strange times. With governmental restrictions falling back into place at the end of 2021, we decided to open up the call to local bands again and go ahead with Vol II.

The release of Vol II will feature live shows by bands who’ve contributed to the compilation, merchandise with special deals and last but definitely not least, the brand spanking new vinyl which you see pictured above.

Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

Calls from the Hull Vol II features tracks by Library Card, Marathon, Fix Everything, FIEP, Toto Boroto, Indigo Pastel, Croptop, Smudged, Dyatlov, Kalaallit Nunaat and Venus Tropicaux.

Calls from the Hull is respectfully dedicated to all the players within the Rotterdam underground.
