V11 x Rotown presents: BRNDA + Magasin

BRNDA is a quirky four-piece band from Washington D.C. that has been exploring an elusive and uncompromising sound since 2012, without covers and without love songs. With four albums and an EP to their name, including breakthrough album Do You Like Salt?, the band moves effortlessly between rebellious art punk, noisy no wave, and groovy indie rock. BRNDA will play at V11 on June 18. Recommended for fans of acts such as Parquet Courts, Talking Heads, Gustaf, Cola, and The Raincoats.

The music collective Magasin playfully moves between no wave, post-punk, and art pop. Multilingual lyrics and layered compositions are, as it were, folded in half and carefully woven together into a unique whole. The band was founded in 2024 by Michiel Klein (guitar) and Lola Diaz Cantoni (vocals), and quickly expanded into a quartet with Milo Mooi Wilten on bass guitar and Daanie van den IJssel on guitar.
