Long political monologues and obnoxious-sounding guitars are always fun, but sometimes bands have to make people, well, dance. The Rills can be plugged in seamlessly between Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys and Foals during your average Kiss All Hipsters night. Angular, sharp, aerodynamic and above all pretty damn catchy, with a healthy dose bravado and axe-swinging to catch the spirit. The Rills’ energy and virtuosity literally explodes.

The band from Sheffield was one of the biggest highlights during the last edition of Left Of The Dial: music you most want to hear after a long day hanging out at the skate track. Indie trash is happening again, so you can almost taste the moment for The Rills to break through to the masses. For now they’ll make the V11 shake and swing!
