Mazey Haze
The 22-year-old Mazey Haze has already seen the stage of Rotown in support of Opera Alaska, but is now coming to V11 for a headline show. The dreamy indie pop feels like bands such as Beach Fossils, Alvvays, Tame Impala, and Men I Trust.
Before she recorded her first demo’s at the age of sixteen, experimenting with sounds, genres, and decades, she wrote her first songs on the age of 13. Inspired by the likes of ABBA, Tears For Fears, and Fleetwood Mac, which are the sounds of her childhood, she never stopped writing.
This has generated a very own pop sound, still as dreamy as the fantasy world of a child. She released a handful of singles in 2021, and her latest The Weight of the Weekend is a real gem. We cannot wait on the upcoming single I Feel Like a Child, which will be released next week, and on her show on the red boat!
