V11 x Rotown presents: Soft Palms

Soft Palms is coming to V11! On Thursday, September 17, you’ll get to discover this psych-pop and dream-pop duo with a vintage feel. The Long Beach-based band consists of Julia Kugel (also known from the indie rock and riot grrrl band The Coathangers) and Scott Montoya, who you might recognize from the acclaimed garage rock band The Growlers. With Soft Palms, the pair keeps full creative control: they record, mix, and master everything themselves in their home studio. In September, they’ll be performing at V11 with their upcoming album IN ECHO.
