V11 x Rotown presents: Hex Girlfriend
Indie pop, a touch of rock, and electronic beats: the London duo Hex Girlfriend throws it all into the mix. The band consists of Noah Yorke, son of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, and James Knott, who met while attending university in London. Together, they create a catchy blend of heavy guitars, danceable rhythms, and catchy pop melodies. Highly recommended for fans of Metronomy, Two Door Cinema Club, and Roosevelt. Hex Girlfriend will be performing at V11 on Saturday, March 13.
This concert is organized by Rotown and V11 and features standing room only.

Additional info: Their debut EP, No Golf Cart Parking, was released in 2024. The title is a nod to the exclusive world of private golf clubs and carries a socially critical message • Instead of rehearsing in the traditional way, they create most of their music using Ableton • Noah Yorke likes to emphasize that Hex Girlfriend has little in common musically with his father’s work. Speaking to NME, he described their sound as much more Dead Kennedys than The Smile.
