V11 x De Doelen presents: Holiday Ghosts

This programme is part of VOICES Rotterdam: a new Rotterdam city festival organised by de Doelen for music, journalism and encounters.

Raw energy and catchy melodies

Holiday Ghosts brings raw, upbeat energy to the stage. The four-piece of musicians and friends mixes garage, jangle pop, rock ’n’ roll and punk with catchy melodies and hard-picked guitars. Drummer Katja Rackin and guitarist Sam Stacpoole share lead vocals, their voices coming together in harmonies, often joined by rhythm guitarist Ben Nightingale and grounded by Morgan Lloyd-Mathews’ bass grooves.

An infectious DIY punk spirit

The band has played festivals including Latitude, Left of the Dial, Dot to Dot and Misty Fields, and toured with WITCH, BODEGA, Shannon & The Clams, Juan Wauters, Black Lips and The Bug Club. With fiery lyrics and a DIY punk spirit, Holiday Ghosts makes music that is as raw as it is infectious.
