The Windowsill

The Windowsill is the office rock band around Marien Nicotine (ex-The Apers, Giant Eagles, The Shivvies) with Ivo Backbreaker (The Apers, Lone Wolf), Sander Wire (ex-Accelerators) and Jerry Hormone (ex-The Apers, The Jerry Hormone Ego Trip) in their ranks.

The new album Focus is again full of well-written, skilfully recorded, catchy punk rock songs familiar to Marien Nicotine other works: a good shot of Screeching Weasel, some Weezer on the side, lyrics about office life and girls running away from home on top, a touch of Tom Petty in the melodies, and sure enough, you can already taste it; the best Dutch pop punk record of the year!

May 6th is also the debut show of the new Rotterdam punk rock sensation Zerotonins with members of Accelerators, Apers, Drunken Dolly and Bat Bites. Founded in 2022 and a first album on the way.

This concert is organised by Rotown and V11 and has standing room only.
