Sounds from the Deck: Vampire Boyfriend

The V11 concert series which are open for all, free of charge Sounds from the Deck, presents Vampire Boyfriend.

The Rotterdam quartet Vampire Boyfriend can cause confusion; it’s alternative pop music, but with distinct flirtations with the dark and full of references to horror movies and Satanic rituals. Anyone who ever enjoyed following Buffy The Vampire Slayer will understand it immediately. The band from Rotterdam plays with goth influences, or as they put it themselves: ‘despite the references to death, vampires and hell, you don’t have to be afraid of Vampire Boyfriend either: they might introduce you to the dark, but meanwhile also hold your hand.’

The concert starts 15:00.
