Sounds from the Deck: Tamara van Esch + Alison Jutta

Singer-songwriterTamara van Esch will perform as part of the free concert series Sound from the Deck on Sunday afternoon, September 10. The show is in open air on the deck of V11. If the weather disappoints, the artists will perform inside the ship. The concert starts at 3 p.m.

You may know Tamara van Esch as Mevrouw Tamara, the name under which she used to perform. Van Esch plays indie-tronica dreamfolk, in which the calm voice and the extraordinary use of instruments stand out. You can recognize influences from My Brightest Diamond to Blur in the songs. The music for her most recent album Between
Layers is written in collaboration with artists from different genres. This gives Van Esch’s music a broad, dynamic sound.

Ruth Mac was previously announced for this show. Unfortunately, she had to cancel due to circumstances.

The concert series with live bands and DJ sets, Sound from the Deck, can be attended for free. So come to V11 and do something different with your lazy summer Sunday afternoon and enjoy the sun, everything V11 has to offer, and the music of Ruth Mac and Tamara van Esch.
