V11 x BIRD presents: Porcelain id

Porcelain id is the alias of Hubert Tuyishime (they/them), born in Rwanda and raised in Belgium. Since 2020, they have been releasing remarkable soulful pop and lo-fi. Porcelain id was one of the most important Belgian talents in recent years and won the renowned Sound Track competition. They meticulously worked on their live reputation and was praised by the newspaper De Morgen as a “folk singer for the modern age”. Porcelain id is considered one of the rising stars with powerful lyrics, an impressive voice and a unique presentation that is raw, fragile, authentic and pure. Their debut album “Bibi:l” – inspired by their move from a rural village to Antwerp – was released in January 2024 via Unday Records. After a very successful show at Motel Mozaique, they are coming back to Rotterdam, so make sure you are there!
