MATT WINSON + LEWIN

Matt Winson is a Dutch indie folk band from Leiden, which will present their second album ‘Oscillate’ at V11 on the 12th of December.

The music could best be categorized as folk with influences of blues, pop and classical music, combining lush arrangements with lead singer Matthijs Steur’s dreamy falsetto. For fans of The War on Drugs and Patrick Watson.

The band is supported by the lovely and talented songwriter Lewin, formerly known as JARA. Her songs are honest, open and relatable, nothing romanticized. You’ll hear scenes from real life with it’s rough edges showing. For fans of Joni Mitchell, Feist, Big Thief and Nick Drake.
