deathcrash
The four members of London’s slowcore band Deathcrash are an unassuming bunch, they have a distinctly mysterious energy around them, as the shy kids in the corner doing something grand. Their dark post-rock/slowcore draws loose influences from singer/songwriter, doom, sludge, folk and screamo.
It’s hard to define the band, but that they have definitely stumbled onto a fantastic sound, mainly consisting of free-roaming guitars, vulnerable vocals and a minimalistic rhythm section. Deathcrash just released their sophomore in March, and has toured with both Black Midi and Black Country, New Road. Relating to their songs, their career is also likely to build up with tension, to eventually explode into a crescendo of ecstatic screaming.
