Anemone Release Party w/ Hurricane Joe

After years of criss-crossing the country with their debut album Silver Star, Anemone dig a layer deeper with the brand new record: Freebird. The new release combines psychedelic Britpop with a taste for shimmering folk and audio waves crash over each other in the shape of pointy pop songs about friendships, relationships and trust.

Anemone took off on this new path in the infamous Schenk Studio in Amsterdam, the place where artists such as zZz, Nouveau Vélo, Lewsberg and Amber Arcades preceded the band. Now it’s time to share the new work with the rest of the world starting in Rotterdam, the home port of the band.
