*Drum roll* Eindelijk gaat het gebeuren – het album release festival voor Calls from the Hull: Eleven Recordings from the Rotterdam Underground!<\/p>\n

We hebben er geen worden voor om te vertellen hoe trots we zijn om onze eerste release uit te brengen. Deze compilatie bestaat uit nummers die opgenomen zijn bij ons aan boord in de tijd dat de zaal en de gehele culturele sector gesloten was. Dit project hebben we vol passie uitgevoerd en zijn daarom ook enthousiast het eindelijk te kunnen delen met jullie!<\/p>\n

Op het festival zullen onder andere spelen: Tramhaus<\/strong>, FFOOSS<\/strong>, Daatura<\/strong>, Knife Massage<\/strong>, VULVA<\/strong>, Speech Impediment<\/strong>, Rum for Breakfast<\/strong>, Louime<\/strong>, willie d. wallace,<\/strong> en DJ Klapsalon<\/strong><\/p>\n

Verdeeld over twee avonden van 20:00 tot 00:00 zullen de bands back to back<\/em> sets spelen in de ruimte waar de opnames gemaakt zijn, het ruim van het schip. Er zal na de shows een afterparty zijn. Dit kan niet anders dan door onze goede vriend en V11 resident<\/em> DJ Klapsalon gedaan worden. Hij zal zijn vinyl collectie meenemen voor een afterparty vol dansvloer actie.<\/p>\n

Begin maart 2020 was er een regen aan afgelaste evenementen. Binnen een week was alles afgelast en werd de zaal een spookschip. Om die leegte op te vullen zijn we begonnen met manieren verzinnen hoe we de lokale muziekscene konden steunen. Daarom openden we de deuren weer, maar alleen nog voor de bands. Over een periode van anderhalf jaar hebben lokale artiesten nummers en video’s opgenomen in de zaal. Deze plaat heeft die periode nu vastgelegd in de fysieke vorm van een LP.<\/p>\n

Calls from the Hull: Eleven Recordings from the Rotterdam Underground en het album release festival worden opgedragen aan iedereen die onderdeel is van de Rotterdamse underground.<\/p>\n

Sinds november 2021 zijn we weer begonnen met opnemen om een Vol. II te maken. Deze zal uitkomen begin 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
