Open call Calls From The Hull IV <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you an artist based in the greater area of Rotterdam? Do you want to record one or two songs professionally and for free? Do you want to be part of a compilation record with the best upcoming bands from Rotterdam? Do you want to get some cool analogue footage shot during your live recording session? Then get in touch and become part of V11\u2019s fourth Calls From The Hull project!<\/p>\n

The idea for CFTH stems from times of covid when our ship was empty and not being used for live concerts. In order to still be able to support the local music scene we decided to make good use of our equipment and turn V11 into a live recording space. Under the supervision of our in-house sound engineer, bands have been able to record one or two songs in the belly of the ship, where normally the concerts would take place. All of these songs together were eventually bundeled onto the official Calls From The Hull vinyl which was (when covid allowed it again) celebrated by a stunning release show, where most bands on the record performed themselves.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When covid was over, we were so happy with the result of CFTH, that we decided to continue it anyways. So here we are, ready for the fourth iteration of Calls From The Hull. We as V11 love new talent coming from the Rotterdam underground, therefore we will keep on supporting you!<\/p>\n
