V11 x Rotown presents: Meule

French band Meule is anything but ordinary. Their unusual line-up—one guitarist/synth player and two drummers—immediately signals that this is something different. Rooted in psychedelic garage rock in the vein of Osees or King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Meule stretches their sound into krautrock, big beat, electro, and even pop. The result is a mesmerizing and high-energy blend where rhythm takes the lead: raw, pulsing, and hypnotic.

Following a string of EPs and their acclaimed 2021 debut album, Meule released Lost in You in May 2025—the first taste of their forthcoming record Dare. This new album bursts with ideas but never feels overloaded: it’s light on its feet and refined in execution, effortlessly shifting between introspection and explosive release. Meule has previously toured across Europe, Canada, and South Korea, and made a lasting impression with a live session at the renowned Seattle radio station KEXP. With Dare, they take another bold step into their boundless, genre-defying sonic universe.
