V11 x Rotown presents: Ethel

Born into a family of artists, her great-grandfather, grandfather, and father all musicians, Ethel grew up in Paris, surrounded by music and culture. She spent her weekends in studios, dreaming of a life on stage. That dream now pulses through her vibrant, contemporary pop sound, infused with influences from R&B, hip-hop, and soul. Her music feels urgent yet gentle, fragile and deeply human, yet almost ethereal, and always underpinned by a rhythmic current that’s irresistibly danceable.

So far, Ethel has released a handful of singles, followed by her debut EP The Burden of Fever Dreams in 2024. While her catalogue is still modest, it has already earned her millions of streams and nearly a quarter million monthly listeners on Spotify. At this point, is there any direction left but up?
