Real Farmer + Bombstrap
Like an unforgiving punch in the guts, Real Farmer delivers their idiosyncratic (post)punk to the audience: unexpected and always sharp as a knife. Real Farmer is a loud band with a lot of depth. It can happen that in one moment the band blows you away with harder-than-concrete riffing and rhythms, only to dazzle you in the blink of an eye with angular vocal lines and guitar parts. Singer Jeroen Klootsema walks around the stage almost maniacally shouting at everyone what he really thinks of it all. You can’t get around it, and that’s what makes it undeniably strong.
Like a rising star, this band has already found their way to plenty venues in and outside of The Netherlands. Chances are therefore that this is the last chance to see this foursome in an intimate setting like that of V11. Not least because the band is signed to the label of former The Libertines singer Pete Doherty (Strap Originals). On May 30, Real Farmer comes to celebrate their latest EP with us on board.
Bombstrap is the new kid on the block of the Rotterdam underground punk scene. Already praised for their peerless stage presence bursting with high explosive energy.
